We're inviting a small group to use BrainMatch before launch: singles, people who've just met someone, and couples. You'll get the app early, and what you tell us shapes what it becomes. The beta is open to people in the United States first; other countries follow once we've done the legal groundwork for each.

That lights Recharging on your map: where your energy comes back from. In the app, every answer lights the spot it speaks to, and you can tap a spot to read what lit it. A big spot means you've said a lot about it, not that you have more of it.

What is BrainMatch?
An app for singles, people who've just met someone, and couples. A few taps a day: tap a face for how today felt, then one thing from the day. Every answer lights the spot it speaks to on your own cartoon brain map, and your days collect in a journal. We'll never give you a compatibility score; nobody can honestly predict that yet.
What does it cost?
Free during the beta.
Who sees what I write?
You. A partner sees only what you choose to share, and every written answer has its own share switch, off by default. Every kind of data has its own switch, and turning one off deletes what it covered. There are no ads and no third-party analytics, and you can export everything or delete your account at any time. Is Megan an AI? Does an AI read my answers?
Megan is not an AI. Her lines are written by the BrainMatch team and picked by simple rules; her voice is AI text-to-speech, made in advance. Separately, there's a switch called "An AI reads your answers", and it starts off. On, your own written answers go to an AI run by Anthropic to write your nightly question and what your spots mean, never a partner's or a friend's words. Off, nothing of yours is sent to any AI.
iPhone or Android?
Both. On iPhone, beta testers install through Apple's TestFlight app. On Android, testers join through Google Play's own testing program, by an emailed link when their invite is ready.
What about the headset?
BrainMatch also has spaces you can visit on a VR headset. The headset version is an early preview: tick the Meta Quest box on the form if you have one, and we'll invite you when there's a spot. Your headset follows your head and hands with its own cameras, on the headset itself; BrainMatch receives only the position and turn of your head and hands, and no camera picture or video of you is ever sent or stored.

Adults 18 and over. The beta is open to people in the United States first; other countries follow once the legal groundwork is done for each.
